UDINE: First lunch match of the year at the Dacia Arena. The stadium is sold out. Both teams come from a positive end of 2016. Delneri got Thereau back. Hallfredsson from the bench. Unavailable Badu and Wague who participate to the African Cup.

After two minutes Handanovic can't throw away the ball correcty and gives Jankto a good ball to shoot, but the aim isn't good. At 6th it is Fofana who calls in the former blackandwhite keeper, who is forced to give the corner after the shot from outside the box of the French. Udinese is very aggressive and determined, as Delneri wants.

At 17th the blackandwhites harvest the fruits of a good start. Jankto receives the ball in the box from a vertical pass by Samir and before Handanovic superates him with a left shot. Deserved advantage of the blackandwhites which keep pushing and at 21st nearly double: De Paul shots against the post from a close position after an assist by Zapata. After another 2 minutes there is another occasion with Jankto but his left this time misses the goal. The match is well cotrolled by Delneri's eleven, Pioli tries to animate his players. At minute 35 Perisic scores but the position is irregular and the referee after the segnalation of De Pinto disallows it.

Before minute 45 Udinese almost scores again in two occasions: first a cross-shot by De Paul deflected over the crossbar  y Handanovic, then Widmer loses the balance and can't shoot the ball from a good position.

When only the half time whistle is expected, Inter finds the Jolly at the end of the two minutes of added time given by the referee. Icardi from the left side crosses low, Perisic finds the right angle at the right of Karnezis and evens the score. Considering how the match went in the first half and the occasions that Udinese had, it's a draw very tight to Udinese.

The second half begins with a more careful Inter but Udinese wants to go on with thw agressivity tactic. At minute 51 Danilo sends the ball out with the header after a dangerous cross by Jankto. At 55th another chance for Zapata assisted by Jankto, who shoots the ball on the side of the post.

Inter decides that it is time to raise the rithm and the baricenter and starts to conquer the field, helped by a litte of tiredness of Udinese who can't start with the same freshness as before.

At minute 71 a free kick by Perisic exits for a few inches. Inter keeps pushing. At minute 87 the joke is on Udinese: free kick for Inter, Joao Mario crosses in the box for Perisic who beats Karnezis with the header. Udinese tries with generosity to find the equalizer but Inter controls well.

After four minutes of added time the match ends with the victory of Inter. Undeserved defeat for Udinese, punished by two episodes. Unlucky in the first half with a post and some wasted chances for the 2-0. The Dacia Arena applaudes the blackandwhites who under the commitment point of view, and for many periods also under the game one, haven't misplayed before an important opponent like Inter.
