At the eve of the away game, starting on February, of Verona against Chievo, the "bianconero" trainer Gigi Delneri talks during a press conference. Here's his words,

Have you left a part of your heart in chievo?
"We were younger. It was a good story which closed with everything that football represent: game, enthusiasm, a fairytale born for many reasons and many facets. A small town fighting against the big ones always makes for a good story. A beautiful experience. I'm still in touch with many of the footballer like Corradi and Perrotta. Back then ChievoVerona was the second most loved football team in Italy. The european title costed them the "scudetto". There are similarities with Raineri's Leicester. It was a group of real men with all the pieces in the right place and a great work culture. That year Chievo inspired many to better themselves."

What kind of match we will see tommorow between Chievo and Udinese?
"Both teams give their very best whenever they are on the field. By beating Lazio in Rome they managed to recover. We defeated a giant, by exploiting all opportunities but we shouldn't rest on our laurels, instead we should be inspired by this and keep the good work up."

Chievo is still a very constant team.
"Yes, nowadays it's hard to think of A league without Chievo, which pleases me. Now it's formed by experts. Much more mature by all point of views, perhaps a little less saucy, but much more pragmatic, making teamplay its prerogative. They have many elements of quality but also a lot of substance. In order to score we must be very careful, much more than we were when against Milan."

Will Widmer play?
"Sure. We are very happy about his recovery. He just had to mentalize the surgery and I believe he managed to do it. He'll play in Faraoni's place since he's injured, still I want to underline how Angella  has played a great match.

What's more important disposition or energy management?
"I would say disposition and players who can be useful to the disposition. After 5 months I can say that I know them well because thet's a trainer's duty. The alternatives are still ready to be called"

De Paul has improved a lot in this 2017.
"He's searching for his role, which is an important thing for the enhancement of the features of the player. To play at important levels, certain roles are suitable and others do not. It has legs, dribbling, now also important defensive closures. With all proportions, must resemble in field Callejon of Napoli, because now in the outside football should go back and help. He's improving a lot, but it still needs to work hard. "

Two teams with different average age. What differences there are in the field?
"
I do not think there will be differences. The age gives you experience anyway. They are well structured. They have played together for 3 years and are complete at work acquired over time. We have a mix, while they are on average more experienced. I like to work with youth, but also with older people, so to speak. And often the overall improvement of the team passes through them. "

How is Gnoukouri?

"He has the flu."
