The beginning of the match is slow, both the teams stars non agressive. Udinese tries to attack first. At minute 6' Thereau goes for a header but sends the ball over the crossbar. Lazio tries to take over the game but Udinese manages to stop Inzaghi's midfield and start over. At 24 minutes Thereau tries for a header but it lacks in impact and precision.
A moment of fear at 40 minutes when Keita causes panic for the defense but then doesn't find anyone. After 1 minute of recovery Pairetto sends the teams to rest after booking Hoedt for a foul on Matos.
The second half of the match begins without any changes. At 49 minutes the first "bianconero" attempt with Badu who tries to score from a distance but the ball goes too high. Lazio doesn't push and Udinese does a good job starting over. At 57 good intervention by Radu who closes a shot by Thereau. That will be the french last axtion before being switched with Fofana at 59'. Inzaghi makes two changes, sending to the bench Patric and Hoedt while Basta and Milinkovic-Savic enter the field.
It's a match without emotions and nothing happens until the 69th minute when Delneri switches Kums with Ali Adnan.
Jankto at 69' does everything on his own, manages to get free and kicks the ball, forcing Strakosha to block him.
At 71' Pairetto gives a penalty to Lazio: the ball is in Immobile's area, he protest for a handball, the additional calls Pairetto and concedes the penalty causing rage among the "bianconeri". A contested penalty that sends Immobile on the penalty spot where he manages to score getting an unfair advantage. Adnan gets a yellow card due to his protesting. Delneri tries the Perica card, the forward player takes Matos place who earlier had felt to the ground due to his cramps.
Udinese tries to react but can't find any openings. At 78' yellow card to Danilo (tried to hold Keita). At 79' the last change for Lazio, Wallace in and Radu out.
At 86' good initiative from Badu who steals the ball, enters the area and kicks the ball but it's deviated by Lulic.
Parietto commands 4 minutes of recovery. Udinese Tries to be more forceful near the ending. Jankto gets booked for a foul on Murgia. Nothing else happens until the end. A draw would have been a better result.
