Just like Pescara, Palermo could have also poses a risk for Gigi Delneri's Udinese, risk related to the motivations in dealing with a team in poor ranking. Instead Udinese has unsheathed a great performance, especially in the second half when it completed the comeback started by Thereau at 42 'of the first half after the advantage gained by Sallai which came unexpectedly at 12'.
In the first half  Palermo was able to harness the Udinese with an aggressive but ordered game. Diamanti in evidence with its counterattacks.
The advantage of Palermo came thanks to a persistent action of Aleesami who wins the duel with Widmer before coming back to Sallai. The Hungarian touches with the tip and tricks the innocent Scuffet.
Udinese reacts and tries to rebalance the game. Little by little the "bianconeri" take the lead of the game. Posavec must take action to avoid the worst in a couple of occasions. At 42 ', however, nothing can be done with a strike from Thereau goes into the bottom corner to the right of the goalkeeper.
It's a deserved draw that allows them to go resting in good psychological conditions.
In the second half the teams enter the field without any changes. After fifteen minutes the comeback is complete: the ball in the penalty area, rebound Perica - Gazzi and a strike of Zapata for 2-1. The Colombian celebrated in the best way his first call in the National team. At 68' the security goal is made by De Paul kicking twice and on the second try exceeding Posavec. The party starts. And then it's Jankto time: the czech, also called for the first time for the nationals, at 80' takes advantage of a melee in the area and the tap-in beats the Palermo's goalkeeper. Meanwhile at 74 'Palermo is left to ten players due to the expulsion of Diamanti, punished for hitting De Paul on the face with an elbow.
Dacia Arena is celebrating, double celebration because in the meantime comes from Cividale the news of Udine GSA victory against Alma Trieste in the derby of Basketball. A Sunday to remember for Udine's sports.
