There are no official commitments due to the Stop imposed by the Nationals and therefore the midweek friendly match for Delneri's Udinese, without the squad and some elements due to physical problems, will move in Saturday afternoon: at Dacia Arena comes the Croatian team NK Istra, a militant in the maximum national championship.

The first half was clearly leaded by the home team with applauses of the audience for some quality play by Ewandro, as well as many brazilian like moves from Matos and Samir. At 28 minutes Balic also tries to warm up right from outside, Ivesa is attentive and deflects for a corner. At half an hour there is great fear for the goalkeeper Ivusic, just entered: after a prodigious rescue of Angella, the keeper is inadvertently hit by Perica and is forced to abandon the field after a suspension of approximately ten minutes, supported by the clapping of Friuli public. The first half ends goalless.

In the second half Balic again has a great chance to break free after a beautiful duet between Kums and Ewandro, but the midfielder fails to hit the big target. Kums tries again with a good kick from the edge conquered by Evangelista, just high ball over the top corner to the left of Coric. At half-hour Perisan performs a fantastic parade, but the referee Marini had already stopped everything for an offside reported by an assistant. Lucas Evangelista worries Coric with a nice ending but it's the NK Istra who surprises Udinese: Stepcic gets the ball in the Friuli penalty zone, kicks to the mirror a grazing that detours the innocent Perisan. The Delneri children fail to respond to the guest net, Udinese suffered a painless defeat and will resume their preparations for the game against Torino on Tuesday afternoon at 15:00.
