The streak of consecutive successes of Delneri's Udinese is interrupted at San Paolo in Napoli by the goals of Mertens, Callejon and Allan, all in the resumption, to legitimize a territorial supremacy overwhelmed on few occasions, with the closes thing to a goal represented by the stake hit by another ex from the challenge between Duvan and Zapata.

Delneri chooses Adnan in the first minute to replace the injured Samir with Heurtaux instead of the other defeat on Angella's eve. There is not even time to note the first Naples goal that  Massa admonishes Badu: a yellow one that will be the only one of the first noisy but correct fraction. The hosts immediately try to impose their own pace and take possession of the ball. Hamsik's first impressive conclusion is, however, he does not find the door. Instead Mertens focuses on the mirror just before the quarter-minute but the shot is central with Karnezis blocks it without any difficulty. At half-time, Napoli has two chances: first Insigne gets free in the area, but the "bianconero" defense blockes his two attempts at the door, then Karnezis does a good job at  anticipating Callejon on a dangerous cross from Insigne. In the end, even the dangerous partenopees with Albiol who heads with the ball touching the cross and Insigne going from the limit with the ball. Udinese does not create dangers but manages to keep the fortress untouched until the double whistle of Massa.

No changes in the team in the recover but what change is the score. Napoli takes advantage of a defensive line placement error, Mertens eludes the offside on Jorginho's filter and beats the defenseless Karnezis. Udinese undergoes a shot and the hosts try to break through: Widmer early in the walling of Insigne with a great diagonal, while Jorginho does not take the crossing after he has manaed to free himself at the limit. Delneri tries to shake the team by putting Perica in place of De Paul.  Jankto almost finishes another goal at one of the big championships: his sharp cross touches only the pole to the left of Reina. Hamsik seeks the opportunity to arm the left-hand man from outside to kick off the playing time but his move goes off to the right of Karnezis. The match lights up and the "bianconeri" have a striking chance  to get even: Ali Adnan's cross from the threequarters, Duvan Zapata anticipates everyone and hits the stake. The most ruthless law of football strikes shortly after: the goal almost scored by Udinese is followed by the doubling of Napoli with Allan, who exploits Adnan's mistake and hurled a powerful shot behind the extreme Friulian defender. The most classic of the goals of the former Brazilian player who does not exult in virtue of the great memories that ties him to the black and white coat. The second net scorer will have a few laps later for Rog, with Delneri instead trying Matos to replace Thereau. Napoli is ruthless and finds the tris with Callejon: Hamsik's padded for Insigne, the young blue tries the sensational heel goal but Karnezis rejects the ball which goes to the spanish player for a cold corner diagonal. At half hour Udinese does not exploit a great opportunity for the flag net, inside the small area the Parthenopei somehow succeed in maintaining the lowered gate. The coaches are out of stock, and the game slips without major clutter until the final whistle, with Reina's last save on Callejon's involuntary head-to-head. Udinese will try to resume his journey next Sunday at Dacia Arena in the match against Cagliarii at 15:00, resuming workouts for the match with the Sardinian team set for Tuesday afternoon.
