Alexis Sanchez seems to have recovered from his recent injury and his name is on the list of the called-up players for next Sunday. If the team should need him, he will play.
In Bergamo the atmosphere will be hot, and we are not talking about the weather. That’s what coach Marino has said about the match: “I want to see a concrete attitude, the one we had in the second half against Cagliari: it will be a passionate match. Of course, when you play at home it is easier to be superior, we have to try to do the same in away matches”.
An away win is what Udinese needs: “It would mean a lot. Mathematically speaking, it means not to be relegated, in psychological terms, it would mean more confidence and self esteem for Udinese”.
The 1-3 of the first leg does not seem to be so meaningful, nor scary: “Atalanta took advantage of two good and easy occasions we left them, but the quality of our game was not at all inferior to theirs. During this week, we have been working hard on the single sectors: the defence is the one we have been especially focusing on. If it is the midfield or the front line to make a wrong move, it’s ok; but if it is the defence, it can get dangerous”.
Udinese can count again on one of their aces: Alexis Sanchez. During today’s press conference, Dr. Claudio Rigo, the Club’s doctor, explained: “In the medical report at the beginning of the week the diagnosis seemed serious. The MRI scan has revealed a less serious lesion than expected. The player has undergone physiotherapic treatment that has allowed the player to almost fully recover. This has been possible thanks to the up-to-date medical technologies that Udinese’s medical staff can take advantage of ”.
Pasquale Marino: “Sanchez will play, if the team needs him”.
