Franco Collavino spoke to Udinese TV following the news that Italian stadiums will be able to reopen at 25% capacity from the start of the 2021/22 season.

“It's a first step forward and we're very happy about it,” said Udinese's chief executive. “As a club, we pushed hard for this through all the institutional channels, as well as with our Restart project for the Fiorentina game on 28 February. The Euros taking place in Rome at the moment with fans and safe conditions shows that what we were testing was right and that we were heading in the right direction.

“Dacia Arena has always been an asset for us and we're pleased to be able to finally welcome back our fans. Hopefully with the vaccinations and green passes, we'll see increasing numbers at the stadium.

“From 1 July, we'll start running events at Dacia Arena again too. This is great news because our stadium as always excelled in organising top-class events. We've hosted hundreds of corporate meetings with local businesses and associations. Now we can finally start offering our facilities to companies and our partners again.”
