Rodrigo Becao was on Udinese Tonight on Monday to talk about the team’s recent run of form and the targets for the season.

“We got two important points against Lazio and Milan. We tried to win both games against top teams, but drawing them is also OK. We’re pleased with our performances and we have to continue down this path.

“We’ve shown we’re a team. We were a goal down against Milan and we got back into it.

“I’m pleased to be the club captain. Udinese is a very important club and it’s seen the way I’ve developed both as a person and as a player. I also feel I’ve improved individually and as part of this team. I always try to do everything I can to improve.

“After the incident with [Rafael] Leao, what I didn’t like was the fact that the referee didn’t listen when I went over to speak to him. I thought it was a foul because I felt a shove.

“We weren’t focused from the start away to Verona. When you concede such an early goal, you need to run hard to recover. We got it wrong, so we need to work on those areas to avoid repeating such mistakes in the future.

“The season is far from over. We could find ourselves in a better position in the league. We’ll try to pick up as many points as possible between now and the end of the campaign.

“As for the team-mate who I get on the best with, I’d say all of them, but the one I speak to every day is Walace because we come from the same city.

“I’m sorry about the war. I hope it ends soon as there are innocent victims.

“We’ll try to pick up as many points as possible. I’m confident in my team-mates. We train hard every day in a bid to achieve our targets.”
