Udinese put five goals past Cagliari on Sunday, and Beto bagged three of them, with a wonderful hat-trick at Dacia Arena. He spoke to Udinese TV after the game about what it meant to him.
“I’m very happy. I’ve missed scoring goals. I’ve worked really hard and learnt a lot during this time. I know that football can be like that.
“I didn’t need to keep thinking about scoring because even though I’ve had a dry spell, we’ve won, drawn and got points. Even though I wasn’t scoring, I think I was still playing well.
“I’m so happy to get three goals today, my first career hat-trick. I feel amazing.”
