Gabriele Cioffi felt there were plenty of positives to take from the 1-1 draw with AC Milan at San Siro.
“All the lads deserve credit for the attitude and mentality they showed tonight, and results obviously help in that respect,” the coach began.
“We must never let up because you can always improve a result, right up to the final whistle. Our hopes of winning weren't as strong as our desire to not lose. A draw at San Siro is great for morale.
“The substitutes came on and helped as I hoped they would.
“Perfection is understanding your mistakes and trying to avoid them next time. I think these matches against Lazio and Milan are a response to the previous game. We kept our shape and our identity throughout.”
