Not many people would have had Bram Nuytinck down as the scorer of a crucial goal against Sassuolo, but that's what he did. Having come on as a second-half sub, the Dutch centre-back was in the right place at the right time to steer in the leveller with 12 minutes left on the cloak.
Afterwards, the big man expressed his joy at leaving his mark on the game.
“I'm happy to have scored. It was an important goal that helped us to earn a draw. Everyone knows I want to play but now I'm pleased with this goal. I want to dedicate it to my girlfriend, who is expecting. We're very happy.
“Sassuolo are a quality team – that was clear to see today. We have bags of quality ourselves though and both sides had lots of chances. I think it was a very enjoyable match to watch.
“We have two games left to play and they won't be at all easy – they never are in Serie A.”
