Nacho Pussetto has lifted the lid on his personal feelings after a difficult year for him personally with a series of injury setbacks.

Speaking on this week's episode of Udinese Tonight, the Argentine forward also chatted about the team's recent form and their desire to keep pushing until the end of the campaign.

“I'm happy to be playing again and I feel good now,” the 26-year-old said. I've been through some tough times in the last yeasr but I'm fine now and the team is doing brilliantly too.

“There was a period when I wasn't playing much because of my knee problems and that was hard. At the start it seemed to be going well but with such serious injuries you need a long time to recover and sometimes other problems can arise.

“I was waking up in the morning with knee pain and really suffering. Then I started working hard with the phyios and in the gym and now I'm happy again because I don't any pain – I feel like I was before.

“I'm playing more now than I was last year and I want to make the most of this opportunity and finish the season strong.

“We really feel the fans' support every time we play at home. The hard work we've put in has got us where we are. We want to end the season as well as we can and try to get as many points on the board as possible in our last three games.

“We threw everything at Inter trying to find an equaliser right till the end. You could sense they were on the back foot. We tried everything and I think we deserved a draw.

“As for the penalty, I believe referees always act in good faith. From the replays I haven't seen a clear image that shows Pablo [Mari] touching [Edin] Dzeko. There could have been a penalty for us too, but sometimes it can be hard to make a decision in so little time.”
