Walace was unable to hide his delight after Udinese's 4-0 triumph over Fiorentina at the Stadio Franchi.
“It's a great win and it had been a few years since Udinese beat Fiorentina,” the midfielder told DAZN immediately after the final whistle.
“We played really well against a great team. We enjoyed ourselves out there this afternoon. I'm happy for the team and to have got on the score sheet myself. I want to dedicate this goal to my son, who is due in a few months' time.
“We're taking each game as it comes. We have another tough match coming up on Sunday now so we need to rest tonight and then start focusing on Inter from tomorrow.”
