After a rest day on Sunday, it was straight back to work for the first-team squad on Monday morning, with the day’s proceedings kicking off with a mix of pitch and gym work, with the players split up into groups based on their positions.
Following some activation drills, rondos were on the agenda in the afternoon as the rain poured down, before technical and tactical drills and a small-sided training match.
Another double session is scheduled for Tuesday.
