The team wrapped up the first week of their Austria training camp with an in-house friendly on Saturday.

Fernando Forestieri notched the only goal of the game to win it for the Yellows when he finished from Ricky Maset's cross in the 11th minute.

Luca Gotti used the opportunity to try out two different formations, setting up the Yellows with a four-man defence (4-2-3-1) and the Whites with a back three (3-5-2).

New signings Destiny Udogie and Marco Silvestri got their first runout in an Udinese shirt. The goalkeeper displayed his skills with a number of good saves for the Whites while the full-back looked lively on the flank for the Yellows, especially in the second half, when he went close with a shot.

There was no shortage of chances – Tolgay Arslan hitting the bar late on – but no more goals as it ended 1-0.

Udinese's next friendly fixture is against Sturm Graz on Wednesday. The match will be played at the Jacques Lemans Arena in Sankt Veit, with kick-off set at 18:00 CEST.
