Luca Gotti spoke exclusively to Udinese TV ahead of Sunday's match against Genoa.

The club will celebrate its 125th anniversary on 30 November and there will be celebrations tomorrow and on Wednesday with a special commemorative jersey for the occasion. How have you been preparing for the game? Can this special moment give you an extra something?

“The fact we're celebrating 125 years tells you this is a club with a long and great history. The commemorative jersey is wonderful. However, these things have nothing to do with what we need to do in the game. We must focus on what we have to do on the pitch.”

You lost to Torino at the end of game with lots of ups and downs. How do you expect the team to respond?

"I don't want to see that side of Udinese that we like less. In nearly every match, we've had some very good moments but in lots of games there have been spells where our performance levels have dropped. That means we're not mature enough yet and it's something we need to address as quickly as possible.”

Against Torino you played with a back three against Torino with a very attacking line-up initially and Roberto Pereyra in a deeper role. With Jean-Victor Makengo coming back in, will Pereyra return to his usual position?

“I'm not going to make radical tactical changes as it would make things harder for the players. Especially when you're struggling, you need certainties. We will adopt a few specific strategies to deal with Genoa in this match.”
