Pierpaolo Marino commented on the team's pre-season preparations and the club's transfer targets before Saturday's friendly against Slovenia outfit ND Bilje.
“This match is little more than a training session,” the technical director told Udinese TV. “It's good to see a bit of football after the break but we won't be able to draw any real conclusions from it, good or bad. The players will probably be rather heavy-legged due to the loads they've been doing over the last 10 days.
“We're working with the owners on various transfer targets and we'll strengthen the squad with some very good players. There are a couple of areas we're prioritising at the moment and then we'll look at other areas.
“The goalkeepers we're looking at are all top quality and all very keen to join Udinese. I think we'll be able to make an announcement soon.”
