Stefano Okaka hailed Udinese's strength in depth and singled out captain Rodrigo De Paul for special praise following the team's 2-1 success against Crotone.
“These points are massive for us,” the Italian said in his post-match interview with Udinese TV.
“We'd been through a tricky spell but we put a lot of things right with this performance. There's plenty of quality in this squad and that was clear today.”
Speaking about his own return from injury, Okaka went on: “It's never easy to come back after spending so many months on the sidelines, especially with a physique like mine. I'm getting back there slowly but surely. I was pleased with lots of things I did today.
“I'm happy and want to keep going like this till the end of the season and finish as well as I can. I have several targets I can still reach so I want to end on a high.
“I've run out of adjectives to describe De Paul – the effort he puts into every match, the quality in his every touch and the numbers he produces. There aren't many midfielders in Europe who score 10 goals a season. We always try to do our best but he's our captain and when he's on song like today it's good news for everyone.”
