Udinese’s first two pre-season friendlies of the season have been confirmed.
The Bianconeri will kick off their 2021/22 preparations with a match against Slovenian second division side Nd Bilje in Manzano (UD) on Saturday 17 July.
The match will take place behind closed doors, with kick-off set for 17:00 CEST. Fans can follow the game live and exclusive on Udinese TV and www.udinesetv.it.
Udinese will then travel to France to take on Lens at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis on Saturday 31 July at 18:00 CEST. Lens were something of a revelation in Ligue 1 last season, while the game will offer the chance to see the familiar face of former Udinese man Seko Fofana once more.
The friendly with Lens is a repeat of the UEFA Cup Round of 32 tie back in 2005/06, when Udinese won the home leg 3-0 before losing 1-0 in France – a result that sent the Bianconeri through to the last 16.
