Udinese got their 2021/22 campaign rolling with a battling draw at home to Juventus on Sunday afternoon. Luca Gotti’s men found themselves 2-0 down at the interval, after goals from Paulo Dybala and Juan Cuadrado, but hauled themselves level as Roberto Pereyra converted a spot kick and Gerard Deulofeu pounced on a mistake from Wojciech Szczesny to score. It looked momentarily as if Cristiano Ronaldo had headed home a late winner for Juventus, but the 95th-minute goal was chalked off for offside.
