Destiny Udogie spoke of his joy of playing and disappointment at losing after Udinese's 1-0 defeat at Roma on Thursday.
“I couldn't wait to play again, especially in a big match like this.” the 18-year-old began. “It's a shame about the result. I had a chance to score and it would have got us level so I'm really gutted I missed.
“The way the game went, we tried to defend deep then break forward at pace but it didn't work out.
“I enjoy playing with [Jean-Victor] Makengo. We get on well and I think you can see we have a great understanding on the pitch too.”
