A European model for the stadiums of the future

Designed as a real house for the local families, Dacia Arena is a modern and multifunctional facility opened to everyone all week. It is a reference point for sport, free time, health and wellness. This building is characterized by a fascinating design and incredible attention to environmental issues: it is destined to become a new reference point within the field of football and a meeting place for the club members.

                        Football to the utmost

Dacia Arena has been designed to get the supporters close to the players. There are not any barriers between the spectators and the football field, in order to make the stadium a safe place for children and families, too. All the 25’132 seats are covered and figured out to assure an excellent view from every position. The team benches have a particular system that do not reduce the view on the playing field during the matches.

An architectural masterpiece

Futuristic structure and multifunctionality are the main characteristics of the stadium. According to the project, the curved sector and the stands have been separately rebuilt and the west stand has been completely restyled.

Stage of important events

House of the Udinese for forty years, the stadium of Udine has been the place of important sport events and world-class shows. Apart from the Serie A matches, some Italia ‘90 World Championship and other Italian national team matches were played here. Furthermore, during the 2005/2006 football season the Udinese has played three memorable matches of the Champions League against Barcelona, Werder and Panathinaikos. The stadium is also used for big concerts: Vasco Rossi, Ligabue, Bruce Springsteen, Madonna, AC/DC and Metallica have recently packed the stadium with their fans.

The new west front

From the aestethic point of view, the stadium will be soon finished with the new front of the west stand, which is the part of the pre-existent sport facility that has not been rebuilt. The front aesthetic restyling will give visual uniformity to the stadium and offer a further remarkable access to the corporate hospitality private areas.
