Prior to tomorrow's match, Udinese had faced Inter 105 times in Serie A, with a record of 23 wins, 27 draws and 55 defeats. This fixture will be held at Bluenergy Stadium, and the last time these two teams met there last September the Nerazzurri came away with a 3-2 win. However, earlier this campaign the Zebrette claimed a 2-1 victory at San Siro over Inter, and if Udinese were to win tomorrow it would be their first double over Inter since the 2012/13 campaign. Udinese’s coach Kosta Runjaic has the upper hand over his counterpart Cristian Chivu, having beaten the Romanian in both of their encounters so far – earlier this season and in Udinese’s 1-0 win over Parma last March, where Chivu was managing at the time.

The Zebrette and Nerazzurri haven't played out a draw since January 2021, and the stats also seem to indicate that tomorrow’s game is unlikely to end all-square. Udinese, who drew with Pisa in their last match, haven’t drawn in two consecutive games in their last nine matches, while Inter haven’t drawn away since last April. Udinese have scored in each of their last four matches against the Nerazzurri in Udine, a streak which has never reached five games. As for goals, Udinese scored twice against both Torino and Pisa, and should they repeat this feat it would be the first time since autumn 2022 that they hit at least two past their opponents in three consecutive games.

By scoring against Pisa forward Keinan Davis reached six league goals in 2025/26, one shy of his all-time record of seven goals for a campaign, set when he was at Watford in the 2022/23 season. The Englishman impressed against Inter in the first meeting this season, as did Arthur Atta, while Oumar Solet and Christian Kabasele (who reached five Serie A goals for the season last Saturday, all of which have come at home) also scored against Inter last year, as did Sandi Lovric in the 2022/23 season. However, since 2015/16, the top scorer in meetings between the two teams has been Inter's Lautaro Martinez with six goals. Kingsley Ehizibue - who is one appearance away from his 100th for Udinese in Serie A - and Sandi Lovric - who is one goal away from his 10th for Udinese - could reach milestones tomorrow. Two players may face their former sides on Saturday - Daniele Padelli, who played nine times for Inter between 2017 and 2021, and Piotr Zielinski, who played 19 times for Udinese between 2012 and 2014. Nicolo Zaniolo, who was a member of Inter's Primavera team in the 2017/18 season, will miss out due to injury.
