The Football Performance Summit

Udine, 13 February 2026 – The world's elite of all-round sports performance will be gathering at Bluenergy Stadium on 26 May. Udinese Calcio are delighted to announce that the club will host the first edition of the Football Performance Summit, the first international event organised by Udinese, dedicated to all those involved in all-round athletic training and sports performance, with a special focus on football. 

 

The result of an idea by Jordi Garcia, Head of Performance Department at Udinese Calcio, the Football Performance Summit is an unique and unmissable event of global calibre. There will be a international congress in English (with simultaneous translation into Italian) that will allow athletic trainers to discuss the most cutting-edge technologies and working methodologies in the field of athletic training and high-level performance in modern football. This is an area in which Udinese Calcio has always invested in the most innovative technologies and hired the best professionals on the European scene, which has seen the club become a benchmark in this regard.  

 

Through the collaboration with Jordi Garcia, Udinese will host a wide-ranging meeting of minds, a fantastic event which underscores Bluenergy Stadium’s role as a venue for major international events. Among the speakers are top performance professionals from some of the world's top clubs such as Darren Burgess, Director of Performance at Juventus, Paul Bradley, Football Science Consultant for elite clubs, international sports institutions, and technology companies; Bram Swinnen, founder of Integrated Performance Training and a renowned expert in sports science, performance training, and rehabilitation, Ismael Camenforte, Head of Strength & Conditioning who has worked at Real Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen, and Barcelona, Giampiero Ascenzi, Athletic Trainer at Fiorentina and Miguel Angel Campos and Jose Jimenez Iglesias, Head of Performance and Head of Strength & Conditioning at Bayer Leverkusen.
