Udinese Calcio is delighted to announce a new sponsorship agreement that will see Friuli-based brands Old Wild West and Wiener Haus appear on the shirt sleeves of the club's youth academy teams.

While Serie A takes an unprecedented long winter break, the youth championships have only just begun for Udinese's academy sides. Over 200 kids from U9 to U17 level are taking part in national and international competitions, and this season they will be joined by the two brands of the Cigierre family, one of the leading businesses in themed restaurants, based in Tavagnacco, near Udine.

“We are very happy to sign this new partnership with two big names like Old Wild West and Wiener Haus,” said Udinese director general Franco Collavino. “We have always placed a strong emphasis on developing young talent, along with scouting. It's nice to be able to count on the support of Old Wild West and Wiener Haus – with whom we share many values and goals – in developing our young footballers.”

“We are thrilled and honoured to support such a renowned club in promoting youth through two of our most popular brands,” commented Cigierre marketing director Daniele Crucil. “Cigierre has always believed in sport because values such as team spirit, understanding and hard work are the same ones we seek in our own team and are crucial to the success of any initiative. On behalf of our company, I would like to wish all of Udinese's young players the best of luck for the season. I'm sure they will make us proud.”

Old Wild West will be the sleeve sponsor on kits for the U9, U10, U11, U12 and U13 teams while Wiener Haus will appear on the sleeves of the matchday jersey for the U14, U15, U16 and U17 sides.

Both brands will feature in marketing and communications activities, website and social media channels and Udinese TV initiatives relating to Udinese Calcio youth teams.
