Bluenergy Stadium was once again in the spotlight at one of the most prestigious conferences dedicated to sustainability in Europe. The event was held in Brussels during the Sustainable Solar Europe 2025 conference, where Udinese Calcio presented its sports facility as a case study. The main focus was on the solar park created on the roof of Bluenergy Stadium and the Energia in campo (Energy on the pitch) Renewable Energy Community (REC).
As part of the conference – which focused on exploring the most relevant issues in the energy industry with actors from academia, politics, industry and other fields – Udinese Calcio was the subject of a workshop titled How on-site Solar Advances Business and Sustainability Goals, with the club’s Sustainability Manager Piera Abramo as a speaker, alongside Solnet Group Board Of Directors Chairman Arttur Kulvik and Galvanizacion Toledo CEO Carlos Garcia.
The conference has been yet another opportunity for Udinese Calcio to showcase its sustainability initiatives and act as a role model. This was further proof that Bluenergy Stadium is a cutting-edge facility striving for an ever-greener future.
