Sixty Ukrainian children forced to flee the war in their country were invited to Dacia Arena for Udinese's game against Empoli on Saturday.

It was an opportunity for them to enjoy an afternoon of Serie A football, visit the stadium and step out onto the Dacia Arena turf. Some of them were even lucky enough to line up with the players ahead of kick-off.

What's more, all the children were given an Easter egg at pitchside by Magda Pozzo before the match.

This symbolic initiative follows the more concrete action organised by the club to aid the Ukrainian people in recent weeks, including the collection of essential supplies at the Curva Nord.
