Udinese Under 20s produced one of their best performances of the season but ended up with nothing to show for it as they slipped to a 2-1 defeat at Venezia on Saturday.
Giulio Vinciati opened the scoring from the penalty in the first minute and Julio Gutierrez's boys continued to play well and create chances throughout the first half.
The pace of the game dropped in the second half, then out of nothing Venezia flipped the scoreline with two quick goals by Lapo Fondi.
The result leaves Udinese Primavera on 12 points, 15th in the table.
