The Udinese U17 team will be playing the second leg of the championship quarter-finals against Roma at the Fulvio Bernardini training centre in Trigoria on Thursday at 12:30. One more effort to secure a spot in the semis.
Alessandro Gridel’s side won the first leg 1-0 in Teor last Sunday thanks to an amazing goal by Mattia Marello. This means they need to win or draw to reach a historic achievement. There will be no extra time or penalties: in the event of a draw on aggregate after 180 minutes, Roma would move on as they finished higher on the regular season.
If Udinese U17 win, they will play the semis on 18 and the final match on 20 June at the Stadio Benito Stirpe in Frosinone and the Stadio Domenico Francioni in Latina respectively. The other teams still involved are Juventus, Torino, Inter, Milan, Empoli and Cagliari.
