Two of Udinese’s young talents will be playing for their national teams over the coming weeks. Goalkeeper Rene Pirih of the U16 team has been called up by the Slovenian U17 national team for two friendlies against Albania on 9 and 11 October respectively, while playmaker Nikolay Popov of the U20 team will play three European qualifying matches for the Bulgarian U17 team against Slovakia (28 October), Switzerland (31 October) and San Marino (3 November).
