The 2026 edition of the Udinese Summer Camp has come to an end and it has been a huge success, both in terms of attendance levels and feedback from its participants. The initiative went from 10 to 27 June and was held at Bluenergy Stadium and at the Bruseschi Training Centre, with over 350 children and teenagers born between 2012 and 2020.
These figures are proof of how valuable and well established the initiative has become. They also show that the Udinese Summer Camp has been able to evolve year after year, with new educational content and quality projects.
Along with sporting activities, which were at the core of the experience, participants took part in a carefully structured training programme focused on sustainability, well-being and social responsibility.
All activities were carried out thanks to the collaboration of qualified partners: NET Education, which organised workshops on separate waste collection and waste management; ARPA FVG, which prepared fun and educational activities centred on water and the environment; Udinese Calcio’s nutritionist, who provided valuable insights on healthy diets; and finally Hattiva Lab, in collaboration with Banca 360 FVG, which promoted creative ceramic painting workshops.
Udine’s Civil Protection department also made a very important contribution thanks to their educational project titled “Io Cresco Sicuro,” aimed at raising awareness among young people of environmental risks and how to behave when there is an emergency.
The activity held even greater significance as it was connected to the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Friuli Earthquake, turning a historical memory into an important opportunity for new generations to learn and grow as citizens.
The 2026 edition also stood out for its tangible commitment to sustainability: from using environmentally friendly materials to cutting back on single-use plastic, as well as responsible resource management, recovering food surpluses and then giving them to food banks.
The Udinese Summer Camp has once again proven that it is a comprehensive, well-structured educational project that can effectively combine sport, education and values, offering its young participants a meaningful experience not only in terms of sport, but also at a human and social level.
