The Udinese Under 14s' time in China at the Chongqing Ravenna Top Cup has come to an end – and proved to be a wonderful experience for their development on and off the field of play.
Our youngsters ended the tournament in sixth place. After qualifying from the group stage with two wins and a defeat, they were beaten 5-3 in the quarter-finals by Henan Middle School.
They then overcame Beijing Guoan 2-0 (Deschmann and Zampa on target) in the 5th/8th-place play-offs before losing 3-0 to Qingdao FA in the fifth-place play-off.
