It was one of those afternoons when Antonio Di Natale stepped up and produced a moment of magic. One of the many that Udinese fans got to witness over the years. On this day, 12 years ago, it was against Eugenio Corini's ChievoVerona side.
Udinese went into the Serie A Week 31 fixture sitting comfortably on 42 points but some way off the European spots. What's more, Francesco Guidolin's side hadn't won at home in two months.
Midway through the half Di Natale opened the scoring with a poached goal following a goalkeeping error, but it was his second goal, five minutes later, which really lit up the stadium.
Roberto Pereyra's deep cross from the right wing was met on the far side of the penalty box by Toto, who caught it perfectly on the volley to angle a sublime finish inside the far post.
It was an absolute peach of a goal, quite possibly his best for the club – and there is a long list of candidates.
Udinese won the game 3-1, Paul Papp pulling one back for the visitors before Medhi Benatia made sure of the points late on. That was the start of an eight-match winning run for Guidolin's men which propelled them to 66 points, meaning they finished the 2012/13 season in fifth place and qualified for the Europa League.
