A talented youngster has joined the Udinese ranks.
James Abankwah has put pen to paper on a contract with the club that run until 30 June 2026, having moved on a permanent deal from Irish Premier Division side St Patrick’s Athletic.
The 18-year-old centre-back has an impressive physique and is gifted with technical attributes that are geared towards reaching the top level.
Despite his young age, Abankwah has already made 13 appearances for the St Patrick’s first team in the league and cup, while he also has five caps to his name with the Ireland U19s.
Abankwah will remain at the Irish club on loan until 30 June 2022 before joining Udinese in the summer.
