Udinese Calcio is happy to announce that Alex Brunner has returned to Udinese.
The goalkeeping coach, who boasts over 15 years of experience in the Italian Serie A and the Premier League and is among the best in the field internationally, has returned to Udinese’s technical staff, led by coach Kosta Runjaic, after three seasons in England at Watford.
His return is consistent with Udinese’s long-standing strategy of selecting, together with Kosta Runjaic, the best professionals on the market for their technical staff. Alex trained Udinese’s goalkeepers from 2011 to 2022, initially with the Primavera team and then, starting from 2013, the first team. He became the head of Udinese’s goalkeeper training department in 2016.

Udinese’s technical staff is back together with Sergio Marcon, who contributed to training many goalkeepers who have become top-level professionals. Some of them are: Guglielmo Vicario, Alex Meret and Juan Musso.
Brunner will therefore be part of the technical staff and will train the keepers together with Sergio Marcon and Kris Stergulc.
Welcome back, Alex.
