Arthur Atta opened the scoring in Monday's Coppa Italia win over Carrarese – his first goal for the club since joining 12 months ago. After the game he spoke about his determination to get his name on the score sheet more regularly.
“We played well and got the win, which was the most important thing. We have a good group here,” the 22-year-old began after the final whistle.
“Will this be my year? We'll see. We've been working on me scoring more goals and it happened today so I'm happy. I scored in a friendly too but this one today has given me more confidence. I expect to score goals this season to help the team. I have to take responsibility.
“I feel most comfortable playing in left central midfield but if I have to help the team by playing in other positions, I'll be happy to do so.”
