After Vakoun Bayo's brace helped Udinese overcome Venezia in the Coppa Italia last 32, he and club captain Jesper Karlstrom were interviewed by Mediaset. Here's what they had to say:
Bayo: “I'm happy with my two goals, I'd waited a long time, but I'm happy for the whole team. They've helped me so much. If you give your all, you can achieve your targets.
“My first target was to score my first goal for Udinese. Now I have to keep working and giving my all in training. I want to score more goals to help the team.”
Karlstrom: “It's important for us to be able to do well both in the league and the Coppa Italia. We want to win and we played well today, in the second half especially.
“I'm proud of Bayo because he missed that chance against Como and it hasn't been easy for him but he showed his ability today. He has great mental strength.
“We must keep taking each game as it comes without looking too far ahead. Now our thoughts are on Monday's game against Lazio.”
