We are proud to announce that Nicolo Bertola has won the Italian Footballers' Association (AIC) Best Young Player of Serie B 2024/25 award!
The 22-year-old centre-back received his prize at the AIC's annual Gran Galà del Calcio event in Milan this evening.
Nicolo was given the award for his outstanding performances while playing for Spezia in Serie B last season, which prompted Udinese to snap him up last summer.
Bertola is one of the most promising defenders on the Italian scene and this recognition is further proof of Udinese's desire to bring in the best emerging players in Italy and elsewhere.
