Bram Nuytinck received the AIC award for the Udinese Player of the Year for 2021 from AIC general manager Gianni Grazioli at Dacia Arena today. The prestigious accolade, which was given to our captain by AIC and a panel of journalists, sees Bram follow in the footsteps of previous winners Rodrigo De Paul and Juan Musso.

Here’s how the skipper reacted to receiving the award:

“I'm so proud to have won this award; it means so much to me. I've been at Udinese for five years now and that means a great deal to me.

“It's been a tough period for various reasons, but these moments are part of football and life. The international break will be useful for getting the squad fit again and the energy that we need. I’m going to make the most of this period of time.

“Every game is important to us, starting with Torino straight after the international break, which won’t be an easy one.

“I'll keep working hard for this club and I'll give everything to improve in an Udinese jersey!"

Congratulations, skipper!
