Enzo Ebosse has starred in seven of Udinese’s nine games this season and was keen to talk about how his season is going with Udinese Tonight:

“It's fantastic to join a team which plays great football. We're now seeing the results of our hard work. I'm trying to do my best at the club and carve my own niche.

“While I’ve been playing in the centre of a three-man defence and on the right hand side I prefer to play centrally because it means I’m at the heart of the action.

“Jean-Victor Makengo has been a great help to me because we speak the same language. Tolgay Arslan has also been passing on sound advice to me but I chat to everyone. We're a close-knit group of players and that's our key strength.

“As for my national team, Cameroon, I’m keen to play at the World Cup. I used to play for the French youth teams but I switched to Cameroon because of my dad. I hope I get a call up.

“I’ve really enjoyed my time in Udine so far and I’ve settled in well. I’m learning Italian and this is helping me understand what the coach is asking of us. I’ll need a few more months to improve my communication but I’ll get there.

“In terms of defenders who inspire me, I’d say Theo Hernandez and David Alaba.”
