Ehizibue: "A great performance all round"

Speaking after Udinese 3-1 Milan: “Delighted to score and get that elusive home win”

Kingsley Ehizibue has spoken of his relief after Udinese returned to winning ways at Dacia Arena, putting an end to a barren run stretching back five months.

Andrea Sottil's side finally got the monkey off their back with an impressive 3-1 win over AC Milan. Kingsley patrolled the right flank for 89 minutes and contributed with the all-important third goal to give Udinese a cushion for the final 20 minutes.

Speaking afterwards, the 27-year-old admitted: “I'm exhausted after that! But I'm very happy both with my goal and our performance today. Everyone played really well and we finally got that elusive home win.

“I think we've played well in our last three games, against Atalanta, Empoli and Milan.
Now we want to keep playing like this. Of course I'd like to play in Europe but we have to keep taking things one game at a time.

“The gaffer is a fantastic motivator. He always helps us in training and during matches. He's always believed in us and now we're seeing the results.”
