Four Udinese players took to the pitch on Saturday for their respective national teams.
Jaka Bijol and Sandi Lovric starred in Slovenia’s 2-1 win against Norway in the Nations League. Jaka played the full 90 minutes, while Sandi came on after 71 minutes. Both put in great displays to help their team to victory.
Vivaldo Semedo was part of Portugal U18s’ 1-0 win against Romania, with the match played in Turkey.
Finally, Udinese defender James Abankwah captained Ireland U19s to victory against Wales in their Euro U19 qualifier. The game ended 2-0, with Ireland taking home all three points. He’s got one more game for them on Tuesday against Hungary.
