Christian Kabasele shared his views on Saturday's draw with Pisa, a game in which he scored to help Udinese take a 2-1 lead in at the break before the visitors equalised in the second period.
“We stopped playing with the ball in the second half and spent too much time in our own half of the pitch. We knew they were a good team and they could be dangerous. When you're leading at home you can't risk losing the game or not winning it. Perhaps we were a bit tired in the second half but that's not an excuse.
“We're able to compete with the big teams but we've dropped points against Cagliari, Genoa and today. It's a lot of points. We're still in the top half but with the team we have it's not enough. With this team we have to try to aim a bit higher. It's not our target for this season but in the next two or three years we'd like to get into Europe because that's the club's objective. We must learn to deal better with two games in a week.”
