Kristensen and Runjaic at post-Inter press conference

The defender and coach speak after Saturday's game at Bluenergy Stadium

Thomas Kristensen and Kosta Runjaic shared their thoughts with the media after Udinese's 1-0 defeat to Inter on Saturday afternoon.

Kristensen: "It was a difficult game but we wanted more from it. After going 1-0 down we played quite well and did some good things in defence and in attack but against a top team like Inter we need to create more and do better with the chances we get.”

Runjaic: "We didn't offer enough in attack today. We needed to make better use of the space in behind. We weren't able to fashion any clear-cut chances. The second half was better than the first but we didn't have enough quality to create anything. Perhaps we could have started attacking like we did at the end a bit earlier.

“We don't know what happened to [Jakub] Piotrowski but he felt some pain and it doesn't look good. It's bad news and hopefully it's nothing serious because at this stage of the season we need all our players. I think he'll definitely miss the next game but I hope to have him back again soon.”
