Udinese Calcio can confirm that Thomas Kristensen has joined Atalanta on a loan move which includes a compulsory purchase.
The Danish defender leaves Udinese after making 81 appearances and scoring four goals in three years, during which he establised himself as a pillar of the team's defence and a dressing-room leader.
