Maduka Okoye spoke to the Udinese YouTube channel after helping the team earn a point in Saturday's league opener against Como at Bluenergy Stadium.
"It's an important point,” the goalkeeper began. “We were up against a strong side so we're pleased. We went out there to win it but at the end of the day a point is good.
“I'm happy to help the team with my saves but it was a great all-round team performance today. We're all happy.
“It's wonderful to start the season in front of our fans. They were a huge help and they're very important to us. We're grateful to have fans like that.”
