Kosta Runjaic took stock after Udinese impressed against Inter despite leaving San Siro empty-handed.
“Football is a game of two halves. In the first half we conceded two easy goals in transition – and Inter are one of the best teams in Europe in transition. I didn't like the first half.
“In the second half we showed character but Yann Sommer was in excellent form.
“[Oumar] Solet is a smashing lad and an excellent player who is yet to reach his peak. He has the potential to play for a team like Inter.
“I don't know what happened in the first half – if we maybe showed them too much respect or didn't have enough quality given that we misplaced lots of passes. We didn't start with the energy you need to play against Inter, but we're growing and we can compete with Inter.
“I'd like us to get more than 50 points so that we at least achieve Udinese's best result in the last 11 seasons. But if we want to do that, we're going to have to be better than today.”
