Kosta Runjaic stressed the importance of winning again on home soil after Udinese defeated Lecce 3-2 on Saturday – the team's first at Bluenergy Stadium this season.
“We played well in the first half. We know we didn't perform brilliantly in the second period today but I'm happy because it's a very important result. We need these home wins. We know it had been a long time [since our last home win] and there was a lot of excitement.
“The criticism? It depends what people expect of us. I think it's only normal that we all aspire to achieve more, and that goes for the club and the fans as well. That's why it was important for us to win at home today.
“We're happy that [Jesper] Karlstrom and [Adam] Buksa scored their first goals. All the players are important and it just shows that if you keep working well you can help the team.”
