Kosta Runjaic was happy with his team's performance against Juventus despite the final score.

“Obviously I'm not happy with the result as it doesn't reflect the different stages of the game,” the coach began, speaking in the wake of the 3-1 defeat at Allianz Stadium.

“In the first half we played well and were solid defensively. We started the second half well too, but we know it's not easy against Juventus as they have top players.

"The match was decided by the penalties but I'm not going to comment on them. We could have avoided the first one too.

“[Maduka] Okoye kept us in the game and we tried to respond. Then obviously the penalties settled it.

“[Nicolo] Zaniolo isn't 100% yet. He needs time and he needs to train. He's working very hard with a lot of intensity and passion. He told me he only had 10 minutes in him in the second half. He needs a bit of time playing matches like this to help him get into peak condition. In three months' time we'll be talking about a
different Zaniolo.

“We played with courage today. Now we must focus on the next one.”
